NEW! Performance Distributors' Mini-VIP is a voltage step up regulator that works with any 12 volt battery to boost voltage output up to 18 volts. No additional battery is needed! Works with or without an alternator. A simple three wire hookup sends a sizzling 18 volts to your ignition system.
Because electronic ignitions like voltage, the 18 volt output of the Mini-VIP will allow you to open up your spark plug gaps to an astounding .070"-.075". The larger gap will burn the fuel mixture more completely on each piston stroke and in most cases will allow you to re-jet the carburetor to run a richer fuel mixture.
A richer fuel mixture will mean more horsepower! An important feature of the Mini-VIP is that it will prevent voltage drop to the ignition system which is commonly experienced from a discharging 12 volt battery. The result is an optimally performing ignition system for your entire race.
The Mini-VIP is small enough to mount anywhere and is easy to install. All parts are surface mounted and encapsulated in moisture proof silicone, making the Mini-VIP vibration proof. In order to insure reliability, every unit is tested in house. Although you can run the Mini-VIP with any ignition system that can withstand 18 volts, we recommend that you run it with our proven DUI and Screamin' Demon ignition systems.
The Mini-VIP is covered by a two year warranty.

As you can clearly see, the bulb on the right (which is powered by 18 volts) is much brighter than the bulb on the left. This represents the increase in spark energy your plugs will produce when you run your ignition system on 18 Volts!
