Challenger, Charger or a Dodge Truck, the D.U.I. will improve the performance of your Dodge
engine. If you're installing a Mopar Performance crate engine, the D.U.I. is the ideal ignition
system for it.

Our D.U.I. is the only one-piece ignition system available for Dodge and Chrysler engines.
This is a simple drop-in unit with the coil inside the cap and the module inside the distributor.
Just connect one 12 volt hot wire to the distributor and you're ready to run! A tachometer hook
up is also provided. Your engine compartment will look much cleaner as the D.U.I. will eliminate
ALL of the messy wiring that is found on stock Dodge/Chrysler ignition systems.

The Dodge/Chrysler D.U.I. is available in either the Street/Strip version (up to 7000 rpms) or
the Racing version (up to 9000 rpms). Both units will allow you to run a whopping .055" spark
plug gap, which provides a more powerful burn of the fuel mixture for increased horsepower.
Our Dyna Module is designed with more dwell time which allows the coil to produce a hotter
spark. Full voltage can be run through the D.U.I. as no ballast resistor is needed. Stock Mopar
systems, and many aftermarket systems require a ballast resistor which reduces voltage in
the ignition system. Full voltage means a hotter spark at the plugs and more performance
from your Mopar.

Every D.U.I. is custom curved on a distributor machine based the specs of your engine. A
super smooth advance curve will eliminate engine damaging detonation and provide instant
throttle response. The Dodge D.U.I. is a real work of craftsmanship. Although it is uniquely
designed, replacement parts are easy to find. GM High Energy Ignition (H.E.I.) replacement
parts, available at any auto parts store, will fit right on the D.U.I. Built for durability, the D.U.I.
has an upper and lower bushing, unlike stock Chrysler distributors which only have one bushing.
The DUI is polished and lubed as it is assembled so that all mechanical parts perform smoothly
and at their maximum performance level.

DIMENSIONS: The DUI measures 8.5" from the block to the top of the cap. The diameter of the
distributor cap is 5 1/4". If these measurements are too large for your application, please consider

LIVEWIRES

Delivering a high voltage spark to the plug requires a quality spark plug wire.
Our LiveWires are unsurpassed in quality by offering low resistance and high
temperature protection. The 8 mm wire is covered by a heat treated fiberglass
sleeve that protects the wire up to 1400° F. The spiral wound core is radio
suppression so there is no radio noise or computer interference. Unlike universal
plug wire sets, LiveWires do not require any assembly. All sets are custom fit and
numbered at each end for the correct cylinder. Colors available are black, blue,
red, purple and yellow.

DYNA-MODULE w/ BUILT-IN REV LIMITER

Our high dwell Dyna-Module is now available with a built-in adjustable Rev Limiter! This
module performs the same as our regular Dyna-Mod by increasing spark duration but
offers the added convenience of protecting your engine from over revving. The rev limit
is adjustable through a small rotary dial on the end of the module from 5000 to 10,000 rpm.
The module also includes Traction Control Detection which immediately slows the vehicle
when a sudden change in ignition signals is detected. Works with all of our DUI and HEI
type distributors that utilize the 4 pin module.
Part# RL-000222 (Module w/ Rev Limiter) CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK
Substitute the Rev Limiter Module for the standard 4 pin module on any DUI by adding $76.00 to the distributor
price and the letters RL in front of the part number.

 

 

 

DUI REV LIMITER

Protect your engine from over revving with the DUI Rev Limiter. The D.U.I. Rev Limiter
drops one cylinder at a time very smoothly. This prevents fuel from loading up on the
plugs. This also avoids backfires and engine damage. Set your RPM limit with plug-in
modules. A 6000, 7000 and 8000 RPM module is included with the rev limiter. Other
RPM increment modules are available separately if needed. This unit works great with
all of our DUI distributors.
