a Mopar Performance crate engine, the D.U.I. is the ideal ignition system for it.

Our Dodge/Chrysler D.U.I. is the only one-piece ignition system for Dodge and Chrysler vehicles.
This is a simple drop-in unit. The coil is inside the cap and the module is inside the distributor. Just
run one 12 volt hot wire to the distributor and you're ready to run! There is also an optional tach
hookup. The D.U.I. eliminates ALL of the messy wiring found on stock Dodge/Chrysler ignition
systems. This really cleans up your engine compartment.

The Dodge/Chrysler D.U.I. is available in either the Street/Strip version (up to 7000 rpms) or the
Racing version (up to 9000 rpms). Both units will allow you to run a whopping .055" spark plug gap,
providing a more powerful burn of the fuel mixture. Our Dyna Module is designed with more dwell
time producing a hotter spark. No ballast resistor is used. Stock Mopar systems, and many
aftermarket systems require a ballast resistor which reduces voltage in the ignition system. Our
D.U.I. allows full voltage into the ignition system, giving you a better spark and more power.

Every D.U.I. is custom curved on a distributor machine based the specs of your Dodge or Chrysler engine. A super smooth advance
curve will eliminate engine damaging detonation and provide instant throttle response.The Dodge/Chrysler D.U.I. is a real work of
craftsmanship. Although it is uniquely designed, replacement parts are easy to find. GM High Energy Ignition (H.E.I.) replacement
parts will fit right on the D.U.I. The unit is polished and lubed as it is assembled. Built for durability, the D.U.I. has an upper and lower
bushing, unlike stock Chrysler distributors with only one bushing.

DIMENSIONS: The DUI measures 10.5" from the hold down clamp to the top of the cap. The diameter of the distributor cap is 5 1/4".
Due to the height of the distributor, the small block DUI will not fit A-Body cars (Dart, Demon, Duster & Diplomat), J-Body cars (Cordoba, Mirada & Imperial),
