As you probably know, the very efficient design of the hemispherical combustion chambers
require less total timing than other engines. Taking this into consideration, we calibrate our
Hemi DUI's on a distributor machine so that your mechanical advance and initial timing are
set precisely where it needs to be for optimum performance. Due to space limitations, the
distributor is built without a vacuum advance.

No add-on spark box is required because our DUI coil and high output Dyna-Module produce
a longer duration spark initially. All you have to do is run one hot wire to the DUI (and optional
tach wire) and you're ready to run. Not only does the DUI provide you with a cleaner engine
compartment, but your coil and module are protected from the elements.

With the DUI's more intensive firepower, spark plug gaps can be opened up to .050" - .055".
More importantly, the voltage output does not drop under load. This feature is a great
complement to the hemispherical design.

Craftsmanship is exemplary with the DUI. Both an upper and lower bushing are utilized. This
prevents spark scatter while improving longevity. The unit is polished and lubricated where
necessary. If you need to call us for tech support, provide us with your individual I.D. number
which we engrave on the bottom of your distributor housing.

Whether you are running a new 426 crate engine or an early 426 production Hemi, we can set
up a DUI for your application. The DUI is available in our Street/Strip (7000 rpms), Racing
(9000 rpms) and Marine versions.

DIMENSIONS: The Hemi DUI measures 15.5" from the hold down clamp to the top of the
cap. The diameter of the distributor cap is 5 1/4".

LIVEWIRES

Delivering a high voltage spark to the plug requires a quality spark plug wire.
Our LiveWires are unsurpassed in quality by offering low resistance and high
temperature protection. The 8 mm wire is covered by a heat treated fiberglass
sleeve that protects the wire up to 1400° F. The spiral wound core is radio
suppression so there is no radio noise or computer interference. Unlike universal
plug wire sets, LiveWires do not require any assembly. All sets are custom fit and
numbered at each end for the correct cylinder. Colors available are black, blue,
red, purple and yellow.

DYNA-MODULE w/ BUILT-IN REV LIMITER

Our high dwell Dyna-Module is now available with a built-in adjustable Rev Limiter! This
module performs the same as our regular Dyna-Mod by increasing spark duration but
offers the added convenience of protecting your engine from over revving. The rev limit
is adjustable through a small rotary dial on the end of the module from 5000 to 10,000 rpm.
The module also includes Traction Control Detection which immediately slows the vehicle
when a sudden change in ignition signals is detected. Works with all of our DUI and HEI
type distributors that utilize the 4 pin module.

Substitute the Rev Limiter Module for the standard 4 pin module on any DUI by adding $76.00 to the distributor

DUI REV LIMITER

Protect your engine from over revving with the DUI Rev Limiter. The D.U.I. Rev Limiter
drops one cylinder at a time very smoothly. This prevents fuel from loading up on the
plugs. This also avoids backfires and engine damage. Set your RPM limit with plug-in
modules. A 6000, 7000 and 8000 RPM module is included with the rev limiter. Other
RPM increment modules are available separately if needed. This unit works great with
all of our DUI distributors.
