The GM Street One-Wire Alternator will make for a neat installation in your engine
compartment. It only requires one hot wire from the alternator to a postive battery
connection. It can be connected to the positive side of the battery or to the positive
side of the starter solenoid. The standard unit has 63 amps but higher amperage
units are available. The street alternators include our new lightweight 3 inch "Hard
Coat" anodized aluminum pulley. The extra deep groove in this pulley insures belt
retention.
