The "105 Special" Street One-Wire Alternator gives you the opportunity to add current
technology to your electrical system. It only weighs 10 Lbs.! Older 10-SI type alternators
only produce 12 to 20 amps at idle, the "105 Special" produces 42 amps at idle. That's
more than twice as much amps available to you at idle! As the name implies, the "105
Special" has a maximum output of 105 amps which is more than ample for most hot rods.
The "105 Special" will improve your battery reliability and durability because it is much
better at meeting the demands of your accessories and ignition system. The design and
operation of this alternator is noticeably less noisy than older 10-SI style alternators. The
"105 Special" will mount into most stock brackets. Our 3" "Hard Coat" anodized aluminum
pulley is included. The "105 Special" is new, not rebuilt.
