The GM 602 and 604 crate motors have become popular spec engines for a number of
sanctioning bodies in circle track racing. Classes requiring these factory sealed engines
are designed to keep competition equal. To enhance the performance of your GM crate
engine and outperform the competition, install our new 602/604 Racing DUI Distributor!
The 602/604 DUI is designed specifically for these crate engines with two features that
set it apart from our regular Racing DUI. First, we calibrate the mechanical advance on a
distributor machine with an aggressive and accurate timing curve designed to meet the
requirements of these crate motors. This special racing curve will ensure maximum
performance and get your car out of the corners faster. Second, we install a melonized
gear on the distributor instead of the stock cast gear. The melonized gear is required for
the steel hydraulic roller camshafts that come in the 602 and 604 engines. Along with
these features, the DUI comes complete with our Racing Coil and Dyna-Module. These
race proven parts produce the ultimate spark output by allowing plug gaps to be opened
up to .055". The larger plug gap will provide a more complete burn of the fuel mixture by
exposing more spark in the combustion chamber. No add-on spark box is necessary!
Each 602/604 DUI is hand built to exact tolerances. We align the pick-up coil to the shaft
reluctor and set the end play between the gear and the housing for accurate and precise
trigger signals. Key parts of the distributor are polished and lubed for super smooth
operation. The DUI is test fired before leaving our facility to insure all components are
working properly. For a high performance ignition system with unsurpassed reliability, the

"Stealth" version with no decals and a black cap for a bone stock appearance.

LIVEWIRES

Delivering a high voltage spark to the plug requires a quality spark plug wire.
Our LiveWires are unsurpassed in quality by offering low resistance and high
temperature protection. The 8 mm wire is covered by a heat treated fiberglass
sleeve that protects the wire up to 1400° F. The spiral wound core is radio
suppression so there is no radio noise or computer interference. Unlike universal
plug wire sets, LiveWires do not require any assembly. All sets are custom fit and
numbered at each end for the correct cylinder. Colors available are black, blue,
red, purple and yellow.

DYNA-MODULE w/ BUILT-IN REV LIMITER

Our high dwell Dyna-Module is now available with a built-in adjustable Rev Limiter! This
module performs the same as our regular Dyna-Mod by increasing spark duration but
offers the added convenience of protecting your engine from over revving. The rev limit
is adjustable through a small rotary dial on the end of the module from 5000 to 10,000 rpm.
The module also includes Traction Control Detection which immediately slows the vehicle
when a sudden change in ignition signals is detected. Works with all of our DUI and HEI

DUI REV LIMITER

Protect your engine from over revving with the DUI Rev Limiter. The D.U.I. Rev Limiter
drops one cylinder at a time very smoothly. This prevents fuel from loading up on the
plugs. This also avoids backfires and engine damage. Set your RPM limit with plug-in
modules. A 6000, 7000 and 8000 RPM module is included with the rev limiter. Other
RPM increment modules are available separately if needed. This unit works great with
all of our DUI distributors.

    MINI-VIP

    The Mini-VIP is a voltage step up regulator that works with any 12 volt battery to boost
    voltage output up to 18 volts. Sending 18 volts to the Racing DUI Distributor will increase
    voltage output and allow spark plug gaps to be opened up to .070" - .075". This larger
    gap exposes more spark to the fuel mixture to increase the burn and produce more
    horsepower. The Mini-VIP has been dyno tested to produce 16.6 more horsepower and
    21.8 more pounds of torque on a two barrel Chevrolet 350 racing engine compared to the

    BATTERY AND TACHOMETER CONNECTORS

    These plastic insulators and brass terminals make your power supply connection
    and tach connection to the DUI Distributor super easy! They plug directly into the
    cap and coil assembly and the locking tabs prevent lost connections due to vibration.
    The Battery and Tachometer Connectors are priced separately so one of each will
    be needed for the hot wire and tach hookup.
